I’m super stoked to once again offer one of my all time favorite activities – a Trail and Yoga Adventure! This time around we will be doing a mindful hike on the trails of Holliday Park, followed by yoga in the park and a peace meditation.
Both the trail hike and yoga session will be appropriate for most levels and those with some basic yoga experience. There are some moderate hills and steps on the hike, yet the terrain isn’t rugged. Oh, and feel free to wear something you don’t mind getting wet in case you want to venture off into a creek or the White River!
We will meet on the steps in front of the Nature Center and begin the hike, promptly, at 2:00. We will begin the adventure with a few moments of mindfulness practice which we can carry with us during the hike. We will spend approximately 45 minutes on the trails, taking in the beauty found at Holliday Park and the company of our fellow participants.
After the hike, we will shift gears and have an hour-long asana practice in the park, which will conclude with a short peace meditation.
Please bring your own yoga mat, water, towel, change of shoes/clothes, and any snacks you may want.
If you don’t want to participate in the hike, by all means just join us for the yoga session which will start around 3:00pm.
